Over the last two decades, Win Campbell has served on the Board of Directors of a number of charitable and not for profit organizations, including: the Development Board of the University of Texas Medical Branch (“UTMB”), Galveston, and the Board of Directors of each: Houston Zoo, Inc. (formerly the Zoological Society of Houston), Houston Zoo Development Corporation, Trees for Houston, The Park People, Inc., the Bayou Preservation Association, and River Oaks Country Club. In all cases, Win served on from one to several committees, many of which he chaired, and he served as President and Chairman of each Houston Zoo, Inc. (during the period of its operation as the Zoological Society of Houston), Trees for Houston and River Oaks Country Club. He also served as Chairman of the UTMB Development Board, currently remains a member of that Board, and is an active member of the University of Texas System Chancellor’s Council Executive Committee.
