As a partner at Ytterberg Deery Knull, Tommy concentrates his practice on estate, tax and business-succession planning for high net worth individuals and families. Tommy regularly represents clients in developing trust and entity structures to facilitate diverse interests within multi-generational families including control, ownership, and liability protection in the most tax-efficient manner possible. As part of this practice, Tommy assists clients in transferring difficult to value assets, including family limited partnerships and other assets and complex entity structures.
He also represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries (both individual and corporate) in the administration of trusts and estates, as well family offices in their development and ongoing operations. As each family office is as unique as the family it serves, Tommy brings an individualized approach to each client.
Tommy is also experienced in charitable planning techniques and regularly advises private tax exempt charitable organizations, including private family foundations, as well as families in organizing and implementing their charitable planning objectives.
