Meredith is a partner in the Austin office of Ytterberg Deery Knull LLP. Her practice encompasses a broad range of estate planning and administration matters, with a focus on transfer planning for wealthy individuals and families. She designs and implements succession plans to meet family objectives in a tax-efficient manner, addressing estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax considerations. Her experience includes advising closely-held business owners and management regarding formation, governance, and succession.
Meredith also works with clients in connection with estate and trust administration, counseling beneficiaries as well as individual and corporate fiduciaries. She guides personal representatives through probate, preparation of federal estate tax returns, and funding of bequests. Meredith assists clients in administering a variety of assets, including closely-held business interests, commercial and residential estate, ranches, minerals, and art collections.
